SysIP is the 6th in our (still growing)
series of wrapper classes around the so called "common controls"
of the win32 system. This time we wrapped around the IP address
control.
An IP address control (that has
been introduced by Microsoft with Internet Explorer 4.0)
allows the user to enter an IP address in an easily understood
format. This control also allows the application to obtain
the address in numeric form rather than in text form (what
you would have to do with pure Clarion).
You might know these kind of
controls from the network control panel if you're using the
TCP/IP control. If you'd like to implement such a control
in a Clarion application, then SysIP is what you need. It
offers field-to-field navigation by pressing ctrl + left/right
as well as the possibility of limiting fields to certain
addresses or address ranges.
As
with all our products, it is possible to use IP address controls
inside your application without writing a single line of
code. Documentation is included in compiled html format.
Updates & email support are free.
