"Oh no - not another calendar!" was the first thought when we told people about this new product. But believe me, SysDTP is more than just a calendar!

There are a lot of calendar implementations for Clarion. Many free and several commercial products are available; some are excellent, some are not. But what all of them are missing is the look and feel of the "real" win32 calendars that are used in a broad variety of applications. Many of the most popular programs like the Windows Explorer or Outlook Express use date and time pickers; as do many of the standard applications that ship with windows. Why aren't you using the calendar control that's already present on your user's system?

A date and time picker (DTP) control provides a simple and intuitive interface through which to exchange date and time information with a user. Use the control that your user is already familiar with and is already using! SysDTP "wraps around" all the api functions involved to create such a control in your Clarion application. You don't need to know anything about api programming, just let SysDTP do all the work! As is true for all our products, it is possible to use date and time picker controls inside your application without writing a single line of code. For those of you who are not afraid of the keyboard <g>, SysDTP provides access to ALL the relevant features the Win32 api has to offer.
