SysHotKey is the third in our series of wrapper classes around the "common controls" of the win32 api system. Because the IDE is still 16bit, Clarion doesn't support any of the native 32bit controls directly, TopSpeed has just "adopted" (re-written) some like the progress- or tabsheet-controls, but many of the "standard" controls users are used to using from other applications are missing.

The hotkey control enables the user to enter a combination of keystrokes to be used as a hotkey. They can do so by simply PRESSING the desired key combination - instead of choosing from an endless list of possible keycodes (that would be the only way you could manage this WITHOUT a hotkey control).

Again, it's possible to use this control without having to write a single line of code - the templates that ship with the wrapper class do it all for you. Please take a look at the demo version for further details.
